As a 100% Estate Winery, everything that happens, happens here. Our 25 acre property includes 20 acres of vines farmed organically using Biodynamic practices, a small winery, and tasting room atop of our hill to take it all in.
The Tasting Room
Modern design meets classic Northwest architecture in our newly built tasting room at the top of the hill. Clear fir ceilings, glass walls, and a long concrete bar create an inviting, luminous interior. On the patio and lawn, comfortable seating and a stockpile of Pendleton wool blankets invite you to relax any time of year. And when the rains come, you can sit by the fireplace in the tasting room or under the eave outside to stay warm with your glass of wine. No matter where you are, you’ll look out over the vineyard onto Mt. Hood in the east, Chehalem Mountain to the North, and a steep ridge of evergreen trees to the south.
The Vineyard
The estate property includes 16 acres of Pinot Noir and 4 acres of Chardonnay, planted in two successive years. The Jory soil for which Oregon’s Dundee Hills are famous covers the vast majority of our east-facing slope, accompanied by a small, stonier section of Nekia soil down by the winery. We planted 4 clones of Pinot Noir and two clones of Chardonnay across 13 clone-specific vineyard blocks to make the most of the site’s geologic variation. We farm the property with 100 percent biodynamic methods.
Winemaking Style and Method
Our approach to winemaking is very classical. Rooted in Burgundian traditions, we maintain a hands off approach in the cellar to showcase the true terroir of the site in each vintage.
